A Star Wars inspired environment. This was heavily influenced by Nal Hutta. I originally wanted to showcase  a toxic wasteland but went a different route.

Another environment doodle. Just messing around trying to get better at lighting/color. Not a complete piece but a decent start.

About time for a redo...

So I decided to take one of my digital paintings from the start of the semester and go back over it in order to see what kind of progress I have made in these past few months.

Break time.. or is it?

So I made though my first semester. I have met some great people and learnt a bunch. What will I do over this long one month break? Digital paint of course!

Here's the first of many (I hope) digital paintings I will do over the course of the break. Enjoy.

Minor changes to contrast.

Heres a few recent pencil sketches using various reference material I found online. Most of the pieces consist of 3-4 different references. Following some advice to start using more reference. Starting to see an improvement. 

Decided it was time to start developing a "style". I was really inspired by some of the concept art in Star Wars Episode III. Ryan Church's use of color is phenomenal.
